The three things that decide whether a cross-border engagement works, answered before you ask. Everything here is specific to the UAE rather than a global average.

Time overlap

09:00–16:30 GST

Gulf Standard Time is ninety minutes behind IST. Your 09:00 is our 10:30, and our day closes at your 16:30 — seven and a half hours of genuinely shared working day. That is enough for same-day iteration, live pairing and a call whenever one is needed rather than a scheduled window. Where your week runs Sunday to Thursday, the overlap days are agreed in the engagement rather than assumed away.

Currency and tax

AED or USD

Quoted and invoiced in dirhams or US dollars, whichever your finance team prefers. Nothing Indian is added on top: services exported from India are untaxed at source. As a non-resident supplier we do not charge UAE VAT either — you account for it under the reverse charge mechanism where applicable.

Processing runs on your instructions under a data processing agreement, with cross-border transfer terms and named sub-processors. Where an engagement sits inside a financial free zone, DIFC Data Protection Law No. 5 of 2020 or ADGM regulations apply instead, and we contract to whichever governs — the free zone regime is not the same instrument as the federal one, and treating them interchangeably is a common supplier error.

Data residency inside the UAE

Supported. Both major cloud providers operate UAE regions, and residency is written into the agreement rather than assumed. Where a regulator requires in-country processing, that constraint shapes the architecture from the diagnose phase rather than being retrofitted.

Trade licence and vendor registration

We contract as a foreign supplier of services and are not licensed onshore in the UAE. If your process requires an onshore entity or a local sponsor, we work through your preferred contracting vehicle or an established partner rather than overstating our standing.

Arabic-language interfaces

Right-to-left layout, Arabic typography and bilingual content models are handled as engineering work, specified during design. Arabic copywriting and translation are commissioned through a specialist partner and named as such. We do not author it ourselves.

ISO certification for tender submission

All three, with certificate numbers, verifiable independently. ISO 9001:2015 (706564/2026/R) is accredited under the IAF Multilateral Recognition Arrangement through EIAC, the Emirates International Accreditation Centre — the accreditation body a UAE tender panel recognises directly. ISO 27001:2022 (25-07-21156763) and ISO 20000-1:2018 (25-07-21156764) are audited certificates from a UK body that does not hold IAF accreditation, which we state up front because some tender packs score accredited certification separately.

Logistics and mobility platforms

Fleet, freight and last-mile operations where the paperwork is still WhatsApp and spreadsheets. We operate our own logistics product, AxleOne, so this is not a first attempt.

Why the UAE works with us

We build and operate products in two of the sectors that dominate regional demand — logistics and travel — rather than describing them from a deck.

Where we are not the right answer

We hold no UAE trade licence and no onshore presence. For work that requires a licensed local supplier, we contract through your preferred vehicle or a partner and say so plainly. Arabic content is authored by specialists, not by us. And free zone data law is not federal PDPL — we will confirm which regime governs before drafting anything.

How much overlap do you have with Dubai working hours?: Seven and a half hours, from your 09:00 to your 16:30. Gulf Standard Time is ninety minutes behind Indian Standard Time, so your morning is our late morning and our day closes mid-afternoon in yours. It is the widest overlap of any market we serve, and the practical effect is that a question asked at 10:00 in Dubai is usually answered before lunch rather than the following day.
Can our data stay inside the UAE?: Yes, and the commitment covers more than the primary database. Backups, log aggregation, error reporting and any queue or cache are pinned to the same region, because those are where residency claims usually leak. Where a service we would otherwise use has no UAE region, we either replace it or raise it with you before build rather than after. The region choice, the sub-processor list and the exceptions all sit in the agreement.
Do you have a UAE trade licence or local office?: No. We are an Indian LLP contracting as a foreign supplier of services. If your process requires an onshore licensed entity, we work through your preferred contracting vehicle or an established local partner. We will not claim a presence we do not have.
Can you build Arabic and right-to-left interfaces?: Yes, and the hard parts are the ones nobody budgets for: bidirectional text where Latin brand names and Western numerals sit inside Arabic sentences, mirrored icons and directional logic, Hijri alongside Gregorian dates, and an Arabic font stack that does not fall back to something unreadable. Those are engineering decisions taken during design. Arabic authorship and translation come from a specialist partner named in the engagement — a developer choosing Arabic wording is how you end up with a product that reads as machine-translated.
