How we handle
what is yours.
Stated before you ask. Full terms are set out in the engagement agreement, and a mutual NDA is available before the first technical conversation.
Data residency and access
Client data stays in the region agreed at contract. Access is limited to engineers assigned to the engagement, and every production credential is held in a managed secret store rather than a shared document.
Encryption
Transport encryption on every endpoint we deploy. Encryption at rest for stored data, with key management handled by the cloud provider's managed service rather than application code.
Confidentiality
Mutual NDA available before the first technical conversation. We do not publish client names, screenshots, or architecture details without written permission. Our own products are what we show publicly instead.
Intellectual property
On client engagements, the code we write for you is yours on final payment. Pre-existing Cognimit libraries are licensed to you perpetually and irrevocably for that product.
Continuity
Repositories, infrastructure accounts, and domains are held in your ownership from day one wherever possible. Backups are verified by restoring them, not by checking a dashboard.
Sub-processors
Third-party services touching your data are named in the engagement agreement. Adding one requires your written consent, not a changelog entry.
