The company.
Who Cognimit is, how it is structured, and how to verify it.
- Cognimit is a product engineering company based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It designs, builds, and operates software systems across two sides of the business: three products it owns and runs itself — Aurelia, Voyazio, and AxleOne — and client engagements spanning product and platform engineering, experience design, brand, applied AI, cloud operations, assurance, product refinement, growth marketing, and advisory. The registered entity is Cognimit Technologies LLP.
- Cognimit Technologies LLP was incorporated in November 2025 with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, India, under LLPIN ACS-5305. The delivery practice behind it has been building software for clients since 2022; the entity formalised work that was already running.
- Cognimit operates from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, with its registered office at Block - A, 606, Prahladnagar Trade Centre, Times of India Press Road, Vejalpur, Ahmedabad 380051. Work is remote-first and clients are served worldwide. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00–18:00 IST.
- Six independent sources confirm it, and none of them require contacting us. Search LLPIN ACS-5305 on the MCA portal at mca.gov.in for incorporation and filing status; GSTIN 24AAVFC8309B1ZH on gst.gov.in for tax registration; DPIIT recognition DIPP237265 on startupindia.gov.in; Udyam registration UDYAM-GJ-01-0570350 on udyamregistration.gov.in; the Cognimit mark on IP India for the Class 42 trade mark filing; and ISO certificate 706564/2026/R on the International Accreditation Forum register at iafcertsearch.org. The remaining two ISO certificates are confirmed with the body that issued them.
- Yes. Cognimit owns and operates three products. Aurelia is a relationship intelligence platform, in beta on Android. Voyazio is modular technology infrastructure for travel businesses, in development. AxleOne is a logistics platform for India's small fleet operators, in development. Client work runs on the same architecture patterns, review discipline, and deployment infrastructure as these products.
Services and capabilities.
What Cognimit does, and how the scope of an engagement is set.
- Cognimit provides nine practices: product and platform engineering, experience design, brand and communication, applied AI and data, cloud and ecosystem operations, systems security and assurance, product refinement and stabilisation, growth and digital marketing, and advisory and applied research. These cover enterprise software, SaaS platforms, web and mobile applications, AI systems, cloud infrastructure, testing and security, brand identity, and technology consulting.
- Yes. You choose the scope. Any of the nine practices can be commissioned on its own or combined with others, so a brand system, a website, an SEO engagement, a design audit, a security review or a platform build are all valid starting points. If a request needs work outside the scope you asked for, that is said in the written reply rather than added quietly.
- Yes. The growth and digital marketing practice covers product websites and landing pages, technical and on-page SEO, analytics and event instrumentation, performance marketing and campaign operations, email and lifecycle automation, and consent-compliant tracking.
- Yes, and it is a defined practice rather than an exception. Product refinement and stabilisation covers codebase audits and restructuring, interface cleanup, performance tuning, reliability and observability retrofits, and migration off unmaintainable foundations. Most requests arrive after a fast build — by an agency, a contractor, or an AI-assisted sprint — stopped being extensible. The engagement begins with a written assessment of what is load-bearing and what must be replaced.
- Sixteen sectors, including logistics and mobility, travel and hospitality, sales and revenue operations, banking and financial services, insurance, healthcare, retail and e-commerce, manufacturing, energy and utilities, real estate and construction, education, media, telecom, agriculture, professional and legal services, and government. Cognimit operates its own product in three of those sectors: logistics through AxleOne, travel through Voyazio, and revenue operations through Aurelia.
- Yes. Enterprise work is a core part of the practice: multi-team platform builds, legacy application modernisation, system and API integration across existing estates, data platforms and applied AI on top of them, cloud migration and operations, and security and assurance programmes. Enterprise engagements run on a documented governance model — a named engagement lead, weekly written reporting, a two-level escalation path, formal change control, and senior technical review before anything reaches production. Contracting supports procurement requirements including NDAs, master services agreements, defined SLAs, data processing terms, named sub-processors, and client-owned intellectual property assigned on payment.
- Yes. Clients range from founders building a first product to established businesses modernising an existing platform. The engagement model rather than the company size determines the fit: bounded project delivery, embedded engineering inside your team, or fractional technology leadership on retainer.
Working together.
How engagements are bought, run, priced, and reported.
- Send a brief at https://www.cognimit.com/contact stating the constraint, the deadline, what already exists, and what success looks like. It is read by an engineer, not an account manager, and answered inside one working day. A 30-minute technical call follows in the same week, then a written recommendation covering scope, non-scope, engagement model, and cost within three to five working days. You can also email hello@cognimit.com or call +91 93270 57103.
- Three. Project delivery is a bounded build with fixed scope, milestone billing, and documented handover. Embedded engineering places named engineers inside your team and repository on a monthly allocation, with a three month minimum and no recruitment fee. Technology leadership is a fractional CTO retainer with fixed monthly hours, a standing weekly session, and decision records as the deliverable.
- Pricing depends on the engagement model and is stated in the first written reply to a brief rather than after several calls. Project delivery is quoted as fixed scope with milestone billing. Embedded engineering is a monthly rate per engineer for an agreed share of their time. Technology leadership is a monthly retainer against fixed hours. Fees are quoted in the client's currency — USD, GBP, EUR, AED, SAR, SGD, AUD, CAD or INR — and are exclusive of applicable taxes. Overseas invoices carry no Indian GST.
- Every engagement has a named engagement lead accountable for scope, schedule, and quality, working to a documented governance model. That means a weekly written report covering what shipped, what slipped, decisions taken, and risks opened or closed; a defined two-level escalation path; formal written change control before any scope change begins; and senior technical review of every change before it reaches production.
- Five phases, each ending in a named artifact. Diagnose produces a technical brief, risk register, and explicit scope and non-scope. Architect produces an architecture note, decision records, and an interface prototype. Build ships two-week reviewable increments to a live environment. Harden covers load, failure injection, access review, restore rehearsal, and accessibility and performance passes. Operate delivers runbooks, monitoring, and a documented handover.
- Typical project delivery runs six to twenty weeks depending on scope, with the diagnose and architect phases taking one to three weeks each before the build begins. Embedded engineering and technology leadership both carry a three month minimum term with 30 days notice on either side.
- You receive runbooks, architecture notes, decision records, and monitoring configuration as contractual deliverables, plus a walkthrough with whoever inherits the work. Ongoing support is available as a retainer, but it is optional: continuity of your systems is not designed to depend on Cognimit's continued involvement.
Technology and AI.
What gets built, and how AI work is held to account.
- Cognimit favours proven, legible technology in the infrastructure layer and keeps novelty in the product surface. Typical work spans TypeScript, React and Next.js on the front end; Node and Python services with relational databases behind APIs; native and cross-platform mobile; and cloud infrastructure defined as code with CI/CD pipelines, observability, and tested recovery paths.
- Applied AI intended for production rather than demonstration: retrieval-grounded assistants and internal copilots, document and data extraction pipelines, machine learning services, workflow automation, and analytics that changes a decision. Outputs are traceable to a source rather than asserted, an evaluation harness is built before rollout, and cost and latency budgets are defined per call path.
- Yes. Aurelia's enrichment layer runs retrieval-grounded AI against live traffic, structuring scanned business cards into contact records in roughly three seconds and researching companies with mandatory source attribution on every claim. That system is documented in full as a case study, including the decisions that were rejected.
- You do. On full payment, ownership of custom-developed software, code, designs, and deliverables created specifically for you transfers to you. Pre-existing Cognimit libraries incorporated into the work remain Cognimit's property but are licensed to you perpetually and non-exclusively for that product. Third-party and open-source components remain under their own licences.
Security, data, and terms.
How client data, confidentiality, and continuity are handled.
- Client data stays in the region agreed at contract, access is limited to engineers assigned to the engagement, and production credentials are held in a managed secret store rather than a shared document. Deployed endpoints use transport encryption, stored data is encrypted at rest with keys managed by the cloud provider, and backups are verified by restoring them rather than by checking a dashboard.
- Yes. A mutual NDA is available before the first technical conversation. Client names, screenshots, and architecture details are not published without written permission, which is why the published case studies cover Cognimit's own products rather than client work.
- Third-party services that touch client data are named in the engagement agreement, and adding one requires written consent rather than a changelog entry. For the Cognimit website itself, the processors are Vercel for hosting and analytics, Google for Analytics 4, and Turso for database hosting.
- Yes, and it is stated before contract rather than discovered during it. Cognimit declines work it cannot staff properly, timelines that require skipping testing or recovery planning, architecture it would refuse to run on its own products, and engagements structured around lock-in. Volume staffing, unreviewed code, and silent substitution of an engineer mid-sprint are also refused.
Working with us internationally.
Certifications, jurisdictions, currencies, and time zones.
- Yes — three, each independently audited. ISO 9001:2015 — Quality Management System (certificate 706564/2026/R), issued by Robust Certifications Pvt. Ltd. (India), valid until 30 July 2029; ISO 27001:2022 — Information Security Management System (certificate 25-07-21156763), issued by Anglia Compliance Group (United Kingdom), valid until 29 July 2029; ISO 20000-1:2018 — IT Service Management System (certificate 25-07-21156764), issued by Anglia Compliance Group (United Kingdom), valid until 29 July 2029. The ISO 9001:2015 certificate is accredited through EIAC, the Emirates International Accreditation Centre, under the IAF Multilateral Recognition Arrangement, so you can confirm it on the IAF's global register at iafcertsearch.org. The other two come from a body that does not hold IAF accreditation, so they are not on that register and are confirmed with Anglia Compliance Group directly. Certificate numbers, scopes and expiry dates are published at https://www.cognimit.com/trust.
- Yes. Cognimit is registered in India and delivers worldwide, with active focus on the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Ireland, the European Union, the United Arab Emirates and wider GCC, Singapore and South-East Asia, and Australia and New Zealand. Engagements run remote-first in English under the same audited management systems regardless of client location. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00–18:00 IST, and meeting windows are agreed to overlap the client's business day.
- By publishing the window in the client's time zone and writing it into the engagement, rather than promising round-the-clock availability. From a 10:00–18:00 IST day that means seven and a half hours with the UAE and Gulf (09:00–16:30 GST), six and a half with Saudi Arabia (09:00–15:30 AST), five and a half with Singapore (12:30–18:00 SGT, your afternoon), four and a half with Germany and continental Europe (09:00–13:30 CET), three and a half with the UK (09:00–12:30 GMT), and three with Australia (14:30–17:30 AEST). The United States and Canada have no natural overlap at all, so engineers on those engagements work a shifted day to hold 09:00–12:30 ET. Outside every window, weekly written reporting and formal change control mean progress does not depend on catching a call.
- Fees are quoted and invoiced in USD, GBP, EUR, AED, SAR, SGD, AUD, CAD, INR — the client's currency, not ours by default. Contracting is either a master services agreement with statements of work or a single project agreement, on your paper or ours, with a mutual NDA available before any detail is exchanged, a data processing agreement naming every sub-processor, defined service levels, and intellectual property assigned to you on payment. Export of services from India is zero-rated, so no Indian GST is charged on overseas invoices.
- Cognimit contracts against the data-protection regime that governs the client's data, not only India's. That includes GDPR (EU 2016/679), UK GDPR & Data Protection Act 2018, CCPA / CPRA, PIPEDA, Privacy Act 1988 & APPs, Privacy Act 2020 and others, with Standard Contractual Clauses applied where a cross-border transfer is involved and data residency agreed at contract rather than assumed. The ISO 27001:2022 information security management system provides the audited control framework underneath those commitments.
- Because the decision should rest on evidence rather than geography. What is checkable here: a registered legal entity with a published LLPIN and GSTIN, three third-party audited ISO management systems with certificate numbers you can verify with the certification body, government recognition under Startup India and Udyam, three software products Cognimit builds and operates itself as evidence of engineering standard, intellectual property assigned to the client on payment, and a documented governance model with weekly written reporting. If a local supplier can show the same, compare on the work.
