Engineering for Dutch companies.

Many Dutch teams already work in English, which removes the hardest part of working across borders. What remains is what Dutch procurement checks: the processor agreement, the transfer clauses and evidence of security controls. All three are prepared before the first call.

Working with the Netherlands

Hours, money,
and paperwork.

The three things that decide whether a cross-border engagement works. Everything here is specific to the Netherlands.

Time overlap

09:00–13:30 CET

CET is four and a half hours behind IST in winter, and three and a half under CEST in summer. Our working day ends at 13:30 your time in winter and 14:30 in summer, so the overlap covers your morning: four and a half hours, rising to five and a half in summer. Your afternoon falls outside our day and is carried by written reporting.

Currency and tax

EUR

Quoted and invoiced in euros. No Indian tax applies to services exported from India. We are a non-EU supplier to a Dutch business, so you account for VAT under the reverse charge (verleggingsregeling), the standard treatment.

Data protection

Our role
Processor, on your instructions

Named sub-processors, written consent before any addition.

Engagements run under a processor agreement (verwerkersovereenkomst) under Article 28 of the GDPR, naming every sub-processor, with your written consent needed before another is added. Transfers to India are covered by the 2021 Standard Contractual Clauses with a transfer impact assessment. EU data residency is available and written into the agreement. Public bodies apply the government baseline for information security, the BIO, to their suppliers; we map our ISO 27001 controls to it on request.

City by city

Local hours and
local rules.

The shared working window in local time, and any rule that applies in a city on top of the national ones.

Port and logistics firms here exchange data through the Portbase port community system, which most integration work has to account for.

  • The Hague

    South Holland

    09:00–13:30 CET, 09:00–14:30 CEST

What your procurement will ask

Answered
before you ask.

The questions procurement teams in the Netherlands typically ask, with our answers. Where we do not hold something, the answer says so.

Verwerkersovereenkomst (Article 28 agreement)

Prepared and available before the first technical call, with the sub-processor list, the technical and organisational measures and audit rights.

Standard Contractual Clauses and TIA

The 2021 SCCs with the relevant modules, supplied together with a transfer impact assessment that addresses access to data under Indian law.

ISO 27001 and the BIO

Our ISO 27001:2022 certificate number, verifiable with the certification body, and a mapping of our controls to the BIO for public-sector buyers.

Dutch-language delivery

We do not offer it. Engineering, documentation and reporting are in English. Dutch interfaces are built on a proper localisation architecture, with the copy written by a specialist named in the engagement.

Work we take on in the Netherlands

Common problems
we build for.

Common work for teams in the Netherlands. If one of these is yours, send us a brief.

Logistics and port operations

Planning, tracking and settlement systems where data from carriers, terminals and customs has to be joined up. We are building AxleOne, our own logistics product, so fleet and trip data is familiar ground.

SaaS teams adding capacity

Product teams that need engineers this quarter without adding Dutch headcount. Named engineers inside your repository on a monthly allocation, with no recruitment fee.

Accessible public and commercial services

Services that must meet the European Accessibility Act or the Dutch public-sector accessibility rules, with WCAG 2.2 AA as the working target from the first design.

Why we suit teams in the Netherlands

  • The processor agreement, SCCs, transfer impact assessment and technical measures are prepared before you ask, anchored to an audited ISO 27001 control set.
  • Four and a half hours of overlap across your morning, rising to five and a half in summer.
  • English throughout, which suits the many Dutch teams that already run their engineering in English.
Where we are not the right answer

We do not deliver in Dutch. All engineering, documentation and reporting is in English, so if your stakeholders need Dutch-language delivery we are the wrong supplier. We have no EU entity and no Dutch office, so India is the default governing jurisdiction unless we agree otherwise.

Netherlands · Questions

Asked from
the Netherlands.

General questions about pricing, process, IP and security are answered on the FAQ page.

Do you sign a verwerkersovereenkomst?
Yes. Our processor agreement under Article 28 of the GDPR is prepared in advance and available before the first technical call. It names every sub-processor, sets out the technical and organisational measures, grants audit rights and requires your written consent before a sub-processor is added. Transfers to India are covered by the 2021 Standard Contractual Clauses with a transfer impact assessment.
Can our data stay inside the EU?
Yes. EU data residency is treated as an architectural constraint from the first phase and covers build and test environments as well as production. It is written into the agreement.
Do you work in Dutch?
No, we deliver in English only. Meetings, written reports, decision records and code comments are in English. We build the localisation architecture underneath Dutch interfaces, and the Dutch copy is written by a specialist named in the engagement.
