Growth & Digital Marketing.

The surfaces that take a product to market, and the measurement behind them.

Product websites, campaign surfaces, search visibility, analytics instrumentation, and performance marketing — engineered like product work rather than decorated like brochures.

What this
practice covers.

Listed in full rather than summarised, so you can check whether the thing you need is inside it before sending a brief.

  • 03Analytics, event instrumentation, and conversion measurement
  • 04Performance marketing and campaign operations
  • 05Email and lifecycle marketing automation
  • 06Social and content operations support

§ 02How the work runs

Five phases.
Named artifacts.

Identical across every practice. Each phase ends in something you can read, run, or audit — if a phase produces no artifact, it did not happen.

01

Diagnose

1–2 weeks

Constraints, existing code, commercial goal, and the failure modes that matter. Ends in a written brief with what we recommend and what we advise against.

  • Technical brief
  • Risk register
  • Scope and non-scope
02

Architect

1–3 weeks

Data model, service boundaries, integration surfaces, and interface structure. Every significant choice gets a decision record naming the alternative we rejected.

  • Architecture note
  • Decision records
  • Interface prototype
03

Build

Milestone-based

Two-week increments, each deployed to a live environment and demonstrable. Reviewed, tested, and observable before it counts as done.

  • Live environment
  • Increment demos
  • Test coverage
04

Harden

1–2 weeks

Load, failure injection, access review, restore rehearsal, accessibility and performance passes. The phase most vendors quietly skip.

  • Assurance report
  • Restore rehearsal
  • Performance budget
05

Operate

Ongoing or handover

Runbooks, monitoring, and a documented handover — or a retainer if you would rather we kept carrying it. Your choice, not a lock-in.

  • Runbooks
  • Handover session
  • Support terms
§ 03Governance

Accountability
is assigned.

The same six controls apply at every size of engagement. They are not upgrades to negotiate for.

01

Named engagement lead

One accountable owner for scope, schedule, and quality, named in the engagement agreement. Continuity is contractual: if that person changes, it happens at a milestone boundary with a written handover.

02

Written reporting cadence

A weekly written report covering what shipped, what slipped, decisions taken, and risks opened or closed. Circulated in a form you can forward to a board without translating it.

03

Defined escalation path

Two documented levels: the engagement lead, then the founder. Response commitments are stated in the agreement rather than assumed, including for production incidents.

04

Formal change control

Scope changes are raised, costed, and approved in writing before work starts. No silent scope growth, and no invoice explaining a variation after the fact.

05

Technical review gate

No change reaches production without a second qualified engineer reviewing it. The standard applies identically to our own products and to client work.

06

Documented handover

Architecture notes, decision records, runbooks, and credentials transfer as contractual deliverables. Continuity of your systems does not depend on our continued involvement.

§ 04Frequently asked

Before you
send a brief.

Pricing, process, governance, and who owns the output. The full set is on the FAQ page.

Can I commission one service without the others?
Yes. You choose the scope. Any of the nine practices can be commissioned on its own or combined with others, so a brand system, a website, an SEO engagement, a design audit, a security review or a platform build are all valid starting points. If a request needs work outside the scope you asked for, that is said in the written reply rather than added quietly.
How do I start a project with Cognimit?
Send a brief at https://www.cognimit.com/contact stating the constraint, the deadline, what already exists, and what success looks like. An engineer reads every brief and replies within one working day. A 30-minute technical call follows in the same week, then a written recommendation covering scope, non-scope, engagement model, and cost within three to five working days. You can also email hello@cognimit.com or call +91 93270 57103.
How much does Cognimit charge?
Pricing depends on the engagement model and is stated in the first written reply to a brief rather than after several calls. Project delivery is quoted as fixed scope with milestone billing. Embedded engineering is a monthly rate per engineer for an agreed share of their time. Technology leadership is a monthly retainer against fixed hours. All fees are quoted in Indian Rupees unless agreed otherwise and are exclusive of applicable taxes.
How is an engagement managed and reported?
Every engagement has a named engagement lead accountable for scope, schedule, and quality, working to a documented governance model. That means a weekly written report covering what shipped, what slipped, decisions taken, and risks opened or closed; a defined two-level escalation path; formal written change control before any scope change begins; and senior technical review of every change before it reaches production.
Who owns the code Cognimit writes?
You do. On full payment, ownership of custom-developed software, code, designs, and deliverables created specifically for you transfers to you. Pre-existing Cognimit libraries incorporated into the work remain Cognimit's property but are licensed to you perpetually and non-exclusively for that product. Third-party and open-source components remain under their own licences.
